Little Zoe is truly a miracle.
I've been friends with her mom, Heidi, for a few years. We met when our daughters were about 7 months old and they are only 5 days apart. I also got to photograph her second child, Stockton, when he was born. Stockton was born 5 weeks early and was just the tiniest little thing.
Last year, Heidi found out she was expecting again, this time with twins. She found out that one was a boy and one was a girl. Heidi ended up having complications during her pregnancy and ended up miscarrying her little boy. Her little girl, Zoe, was still fighting.
At 6 weeks early, Zoe was born. She was the cutest little thing! Such a fighter, she only spent a few weeks in the hospital. I got to meet her when she was 1 month old and she was just perfect! Seriously, one of my BEST newborns.
Congratulations Heidi! She's absolutely precious and I'm so glad Zoe made it into this world :)
