A touch of Nature

I absolutely love love love nature!  I thought to to take a great nature picture, you just go outside and point and shoot....wrong!  I thought it would be so easy, but it's probably the most challenging thing for me to photograph.  When I see something, I think "wow, that's amazing!"  But when I get home to process my images, they fall flat and dull on the computer screen.  What am I doing wrong?  To figure that out, I've decided to keep practicing!  Up the street from where I live, there are the most beautiful cherry trees!  Every year when they blossom, the whole street looks better!  So I figured I couldn't go wrong with shooting these for practice :)

Madelyn is the sweetest little thing!   She's only 4 months old and already a big girl!  She's so close to sitting on her own and her mommy couldn't be more excited :)
